Back in 1998, Steve Sechler opened Treasure Chest, a pawn shop with a hunger for something more. It didn’t take long to figure out what that “more” was – a place that catered to real shooters, folks who respected the power and responsibility of firearms.

By 2003, we weren’t just slinging used tools – we had our FFL and a growing selection of quality firearms. We hit the gun show circuit hard, proving our knowledge and building a community of shooters who wouldn’t settle for second-rate gear. In 2009, Steve’s son, Austin, joined the team, and together they transformed Treasure Chest. We ditched the pawn shop remnants and became a full-fledged gun store, packing the shelves with over 600 firearms, ammo, and everything a shooter needs to dominate the range.

Treasure Chest never forgets where it came from. We’re a family business, and family takes care of family – that includes you, the shooter. That means offering the biggest damn selection of firearms and safes in the state, all backed by down-to-earth customer service that gets you what you need.

In 2014, we took things to the next level. We built a state-of-the-art, 6-lane indoor range with a bullet trap that’s the industry’s benchmark. It’s a place to hone your skills, connect with fellow shooters, and unleash some serious firepower.
